Anime Tokyo Station, a Japanese anime exhibition center operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Association of Japanese Animations, has been attracting many visitors from Japan and abroad as a facility that communicates the appeal of Japanese anime to the world under the motto “Making anime more interesting, bringing anime into the future. On July 7 (Mon.), ”Tanabata Festival at Anime Tokyo Station," the first public recording event of the official YouTube channel of Anime Tokyo Station, was held. About 30 guests were selected by lottery to attend and enjoy the event.

The event was hosted by voice actors Miina Tominaga and Wataru Takagi, who appeared in summery yukata.
In fact, they have not had much experience working together in anime productions, but they have been close friends for many years. Animator Kazushige Yusa, who has been involved in many hit movies such as "Urusei Yatsura" and "Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY" as well as "Minna no Uta", was invited as a guest to give a lecture on drawing by relaying the lecture to the B1F of Anime Tokyo Station. He explained the difference between Japanese and overseas methods of animation drawing, focusing on mouth movements with dialogue, and introduced the history and depth of animation.
Mr. Takagi said, "It's not easy to see something like this! I want to keep sending them out." Mr. Takagi commented, "It's rare to see something like this!

In the second half of the event, Ms. Tominaga and Mr. Takagi performed "One Sunny Day" the second play from the "One Stormy Night" series of reading plays, which was a hit at last year's Anime Tokyo Station 1st Anniversary event. The live percussion, original background music, and sound effects created a realistic atmosphere for the reading, and the audience applauded loudly.
After the reading, Yuichi Kimura, author of the "One Stormy Night" series, appeared on stage for a talk session. Mr. Kimura said, "It was like watching a movie." to which both replied, "I'm very happy! Thank you very much. They showed their joy.
