Special Exhibition “The Work of Tsutomu Shibayama”

A creator who left a major mark on the history of Japanese animation

Tsutomu Shibayama had a long career as a director and animator, leaving behind an extremely large number of animated works.
He was involved in such a wide range of works that it would be fair to say that many people, not only Japanese anime fans, grew up watching his creations. In this special exhibition, we will display designs, image boards, storyboards, and other materials drawn by Shibayama during the animation production process, as well as illustrations he created privately, looking back on his work and achievements.
